Do I have to wear a mask while I'm in the room?

No, however we do recommend you wear a mask in the lobby to protect staff and other customers.

Do you disinfect the rooms after each group?
+

Yes, we disinfect each room with disinfectant that has at least 80% or more alcohlic content.

Okay, so am I really locked in?
+

No, the door you enter is always unlocked and you can exit at any point.

Is it scary?
+

Nothing is going to pop out because our intent is not to scare you. But some of our rooms have themes that may not be considered child appropriate e.g. The Butcher's Basement.

Is there a waiver to sign?

For insurance reasons all participants must sign a waiver. Follow this link to sign the waiver online before arrival or if you have a minor (17 and under) coming. Email us with questions about this at info@escaperoomme.com.

Where can I park?
+

You will need to find parking on-street near The Escape Rooms location or in the nearby Spring Street Parking Garage and the brand new Arts District Garage.

Do I need any special skills or knowledge?
+

No, The Escape Room is appropriate for anyone ages 12+, however children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and for those who are willing to keep an open mind and have fun.

What will happen when I show up?
+

Follow the signs that will lead you to The Escape Room entrance. Once everybody who has signed up for that time has arrived and signed waivers, a member of our team will explain the rules and bring you into the room. The doors will be locked and you will have 60 minutes to "escape". You will work with your group to solve the clues by investigating the room and, if you are master sleuths, will be out in less than 60 minutes!

What time do I need to show up?

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to not delay the experience.

What if I'm running late?
+

Please call (207) 619-3775 or email us at info@escaperoomme.com to let us know you're running late and we'll let you know if this will affect your playing time. If you are over 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to cancel your time slot without refund.

Can I add people to my booking?

Yes. Currently every room is private, due to our COVID precautions. You can pay for additional people up to 10, when you arrive via cash or credit card.

Do I need to purchase all the tickets for my time slot?
+

No. You can purchase one, or all, of the tickets. All rooms are private due to our COVID-19. Check the private group checkbox to make sure your booking is private. If not we will block off the remaining spots for you.

How much does it cost?

The price is $25 per person. The cost is $70 for one/two people on Friday through Sunday.

Is there a minimum or a maximum number of people in a group?
+

The minimum is two people. The maximum number of people is 8. However if you have a group between 8-10 people give us a call (207-619-3775) or email info@escaperoomme.com and we will see if we can help you out. Groups over 10 will have to book two rooms for customer enjoyment, you can request a group booking by emailing us at info@escaperoomme.com. All rooms are private. Check the 'private experience' checkbox when you're booking to block off all the remaining spots.

Trying to book a large group for a birthday or company outing?

If you're looking to book a large group for a company outing, we can open up a custom time for you. Email us at info@escaperoomme.com and we'll get that setup up for you.

Is there an age restrictions?
+

Adults of any age are welcome. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. If you have a party with two or more children under the age of 13, it's recommended that you book an entire room. Anyone under the age of 18 must have their parent or legal guardian complete the waiver online here.  Infants and toddlers can be in the room and do not need to pay.

Is it possible to get a refund?

We don't offer refunds, but we can issue you a gift certificate if you're not able to make your booking for whatever reason. Send us an email to info@escaperoomme.com if you wish to request a gift certificate. Please include the name of the person who booked your experience as well as the reason why you would like a certificate. We can always give a gift certificateif you have to reschedule or someone drops out.

I'm pregnant, can I participate?

Yes, the rooms aren't dangerous and there's an emergency exit available for you at all times.
